I thought and thought abt a song which wud encompass all my feelings for Ashi. I selected many nice romantic songs. But somehow it didnt click. I mean there was something lacking. I was so disheartened that i had decided not to write anything for Valentines Day. Infact I was just surfing the internet and listening to the radio wen suddenly i heard the strains of a song- a song which had been haunting me forr quite some time. The thing is this i once heard this song on yes radio! And i liked it instantly. I could relate to what was being said. For it was my “khwab” too. Once. Now there is a left is a Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Anyway, it was a dream deeply cherished. And i felt it encompasses my love for Ashi the best. For i think this is not just a “khwab” it is a lifetime in words. Abeautiful poem by Gulzar set to music by RD Burman.

This is one of the most meaningful songs i have heard of late. Each one of us must have gone thru a similar situation. It’s incredible how true each word is. My request to u all is dont let love pass u by. It’s precious. So dont let it pass u by in ur carelessness or total disregard. Duniya me sachcha pyar karne wale bahut kam hi hote hai.
